This quilt is inspired by Val Smith’s “Houses” presentation.
With Val’s input , members made blocks and assembled the quilt top.
It was then beautifully quilted by Shari Green of “Olive Crow Quiltery”
It will be on display at Trinity Lutheran Church on May 28, 2022. Stay tuned for details.

Preemies were collected, Sapphire Quiltaganza fabric samples were purchased, library books returned and new ones picked up, recycle table was picked clean, B.O.M. were received and the winners given their blocks, snacks were readily available and a significant birthday was celebrated, (cupcakes and all).
A big thank you to all the good sports who volunteered and made this happen!

FVQG will be hosting another drive through specifically designed to drop off preemie quilts, quilts for Surrey paediatrics and library book pick up and drop off.

Come join us for an informal virtual SEW IN via Zoom on September 25 at 10:00am to 12:00pm. Drop in anytime, stay for 5 minutes, stay for two hours, it is up to you!
