Lecture by Janet Scruggs: Can Anyone Design?

We are attracted to art, usually of a particular type, and we all have a desire to be creative. It might seem daunting but creating your own unique art, of whatever style, is fun and easier than you think.

Understanding the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design can give us a solid foundation on which to base our practice of design Janet Scrugg’s lecture will touch on those important elements and principles as well as lead you through a simple design exercise.

If you wish to participate in the simple design exercise: You should bring pencils, scissors, glue stick, pencil crayons or felt pens and a hard surface such as a book, or clipboard to work on.
