Rachel Derstine: Bringing Architecture to Life

Many of you expressed an interest in taking the zoom workshop with Rachel Derstine. Architecture Quilts will be a full day class creating a quilt based on an architecture photo. Do you have a favourite building you’d like to recreate from your travels, from around the neighbourhood or around the city? Maybe a summer cabin…..
In this workshop, we will be doing fused applique. We will work on how to create proper perspective and how to infuse some vibrant colour into your buildings. A PDF Supply List will be made available before class. These can be fairly small quilts, so quite a bit of the quilt should be completed during the session.
