Workshops

Oct. 2nd – Canadiana in Cloth by Dianne Stephenson - 1st session of course will take place in the multi-purpose room. Please click here for more details and a photo of the project. Those who registered will be provided with a supply list in June. The class is now full but there is a waiting list in case someone has to cancel.

October 23rd –
Ethel Snow, yet another gifted member of our guild, will share her design expertise in a workshop for anyone who is not sure how to combine all their tinner blocks (or any other group of blocks) into a beautifully cohesive quilt.

Nov 6th – "Canadiana in Cloth" (in upper hall)

Nov 10th Pippa Moore will do a workshop entitled, “African Sunshine,” which involves
paper-pieced points and curved piecing (location to be announced).

Nov. 20th – Lynne Fanthorpe will do another, ever-popular, machine quilting workshop.

Dec 4th – "Canadiana in Cloth" (in upper hall)

Retreats

HARRISON HOT SPRINGS FALL RETREAT 
October 15 - 17, 2010

Registration for this popular retreat has started and there are still some openings – it's not too late to register. Come join us for a fun filled weekend of sewing, great food, relaxation, and lots of door prizes!

The total cost is $375.00 per person. The first cheque should be dated September 14th, 2010, in the amount of $50.00 which is non-refundable. The second cheque should be dated September 14th, 2010 in the amount of $325.00.

or hand to Newsletter Editor at the Day Meeting, or place articles in the Newsletter pouch which you will find on the Preemie table at the Evening Meeting.
