Christmas Friendship Star

Instructions:

• Four - 4 7/8" squares of ecru tone-on-tone
• Two   - 4 7/8" squares of green
• Two   - 4 7/8" squares of red
• One   - square of focal Xmas fabric

Place one 4 7/8” square of ecru and one 4 7/8” square of green right sides together, with the ecru on top. (See diagram #1).

Draw a diagonal line across the ecru square. Stitch 1/4” on each side of the diagonal line. Cut along line and press toward the darker colour.

Repeat with the remainder of the 4 7/8” squares. (You should end up with two ecru + red, and two ecru + green). Trim down to 4” square.

Press in opposite directions and sew in rows as indicated in the diagram here.
