November sketchInstructions

Fabric Needed

  • A. Cut 4 - 2 1/8" Squares white/white
  • B. Cut 8 - 3" Squares white/white Cut 8 - 3" Squares green
  • C. Cut 4 - 3 3/4" Squares Green
  • D. Cut 4 - 2 3/4" x 5 3/8" Rectangles of white/white
  • E. Cut 1 - 2 3/4" Square green

Method 1

If your 1/4" seam isn’t very accurate cut your squares 7/8" larger than the size of the square you need. Place right sides together. Mark a diagonal line on the back of the lightest square. Sew a 1/4"seam on both sides of the diagonal line and cut along the diagonal line. Press towards dark and then use a ruler to cut to size. (I use the bias square ruler) This way your half square triangles are accurate.diagram

Method 2

You can make them simply by cutting your square of fabric 1/2" larger than the size of the square you need. Cut on the diagonal and sew. You need to have a very accurate seam for this method.
Construction Sew in order: see diagrams
